Alison Nock
Hello. My name is Ali and I am a virtual Level 5 Coach and specialist Occupational Therapist based in Dorset.
About me
I have proudly worked with the NHS for over 30 years and have developed my interest in coaching as part of finding different ways to help my patients and colleagues with aspects of their lives.
After having some inspirational personal coaching myself, I decided to start a new journey by gaining my level 5 qualification to enter the world of coaching.
Why choose coaching?
Do you want something different in either your personal or work life but lack the confidence or clear direction to take the next step towards your goals?
Is your work/life balance out of kilter and you want to make changes?
Do you have a challenge to face and don’t know where to start?
Have you made changes in your life and, because of this, are suffering with imposter syndrome?
Are you feeling unsettled and know that you want something more but not sure what that looks like and want to explore this with someone outside of your family/friend group?
The coaching journey
The coaching process can help you on a path to achieving your goals, where doing things on your own doesn’t get you where you want to be.
Coaching works through a formula of questions and is a space to think aloud in a safe environment where there is no judgement or someone telling you what to do.
Coaching involves a change in thinking and ineffectual behaviours related to achieving your goals.
Coaching helps you achieve goals through looking at what it is you want, where you are at now, what your options are, and what steps you are ready to take to reach that goal.

Coaching With Alison really helped me build self-awareness around the various roles in my life. Throughout the coaching process Alison was able to adapt to my individual circumstances, I gained increased insight and perspective into the individual goals I was trying to achieve. We worked together to formulate a plan of action and it really worked, things I had been procrastinating over and getting frustrating about actually got completed and it gave me sense of achievement and wellbeing.
Alison is extremely empathic and personable with a great deal of knowledge and enthusiasm. I would highly recommend working with Alison it can really make a difference.

Testimonials
Before I signed up to some coaching my life including work life was very muddled and couldn’t seem to concentrate on anything properly.
When I had some coaching which identified some strategies for myself to try out and see how this affected work and my life at home, it was clear to me that I was looking at some things in the wrong light.
After a few weeks things seemed to fit better and tried different methods to try out and they seemed to work. I now still use these methods and I’ve managed to stay organised and focussed.
Thank you Alison.

Before our sessions I was struggling within my current team and service, due to relationship dynamics between key members of the team, along with a lack of clarity, in relation to my career goals and needs. Through the coaching sessions with Alison, I have been able to establish boundaries and clearer expectations, meaning the relationship dynamics have started to shift in a positive direction. I have also been able to seek feedback and clarity on my own needs and career goals. I have valued the time and ability to develop the trust in the coaching relationship, to be challenged and to learn strategies that work for me, that I have been able to take forward to make positive change and will continue to use. Thank you Alison.
